Sorry we do not accept reservations over the phone. All reservations must be booked directly on our website.

Once an air reservation is ticketed, we highly recommend that clients adhere to the itinerary.  For any reason if you miss your original flight and have to standby for a later flight, please make sure with the airline that the remaining air segments of the itinerary are not cancelled. Please note any unused portion of your trip is non-refundable.

Our cancellation policy can be found at by clicking Terms and Conditions on the bottom of any page.

We offer the option to extend your stay at the end of the tour.  For our Thailand and China tours, a deviation fee of $60 pp will apply and for our Japan and Greece tours, a deviation fee of $100 pp will apply.  Please note extensions are based on flight availability at the time of purchase and subject to airline surcharge fees. Airport transfers out and hotel accommodations are not included when you extend your trip.  You may select this option to extend your trip during the initial booking process.  Once a booking has been confirmed and payment remitted, changes to your flight are unfortunately not permitted.

No. Once a booking has been made and paid for,  All changes  must be handled by Affordable World Tours.

Yes.  Travel protection insurance can also be purchased at the time of final payment.

You will receive an email with the confirmation ID of your tour package once Affordable World has received your booking.  Please call Affordable World at 1-888-737-2742 during business hours if you made a booking and did not receive a confirmation email.

Prices listed are per person and based on double occupancy. A single supplement fee will apply for solo travelers.

For Children 11 years and under, if they share room with the parents and do not request an extra bed, the cost is 80% of a regular adult price; if the child needs an extra bed in the same room with their parents, the cost will be 90% of the regular adult price.(Applicable for China and Thailand Land & Air tour packages)
For Children 11 years and under, if they share a room with their parents and do not request an extra bed, the cost is $100 less than the regular adult price.  (applicable for Japan tour packages and China, Japan, & Thailand land only packages)
There is no child discount for our Greece tours (both land and land & air packages); the full adult fare will apply
Children 12 and older at the time of travel will be charged at the regular adult price.
Infants under 2 years will be charged a flat rate of $500.   Packages for infants cannot be booked online.  Please contact Affordable World during business hours to purchase a package for an infant.

Yes, travel insurance is available for purchase at the time of initial booking with deposit and at the time of final payment.

Login to My Affordable and then click Confirmation ID to open the confirmation page. From here, you can email the details of your reservation to whomever you choose.

Simply login to your My Affordable account which you can find on the top right hand side on any page and click My Trip where you can review all your trip reservations.  By clicking the Confirmation ID to open the confirmation page, you can choose to print, email or save this confirmation. 

You are unable to add more people into your existing reservation. You have to create another itinerary for the additional passengers.

If you need to cancel or change the confirmed and paid reservation, please send us an email using the contact us button at the top right hand corner on any page of our website.  

Log in to My Affordable (on the top of any page) then click My Trip.  You will see the reservation(s) that you made.

You can contact Affordable World by clicking "Contact Us" at top of the page on www.affordableworld.com or calling us at 1-888-737-2742 between the hours of 9am-5:30pm (PST), Monday through Friday (holidays excluded).

You can check your package status online.  If the air tickets are issued, the status will show “Ticketed.”

You can check your reservation status online.  If your reservation is confirmed, the status will show "Confirmed."

The refund process normally takes 15-45 days depending on your bank and/or credit card company. If you have any questions about refunds, please contact us.

Optional tours & excursions may can be added or deleted up to 7 days prior to the departure date.  However, any optional tour cancellations after the full payment has been made will result in a $15 p/p service fee per transaction.  

To add or delete optional tours to your existing reservation, please click here to login to your Affordable World account, locate your trip under the “My Trip” section, and click on the “Add Service(s)” button to make updates to your trip.

Airport transfers are included in our land and air tour packages.  Land only packages do not include airport transfers.  If you choose to extend your stay at the end of a tour a deviation fee will apply and an airport transfer is not included.

No, the transfer out will be on your own, if you extend your trip after the tour ends.

Gratuities to your tour guide and driver are not mandatory and should be based upon your satisfaction of their service.  A general guideline is to tipping is as follows: 
*$10 per day for both tour guides and drivers to be shared.

We accept Visa and Master Card.

All U.S. citizens traveling to China must travel with a valid passport and Visa obtained prior to entering China. You can choose to get China Visa on your own at the Chinese Consulate that holds jurisdiction over your area of residence, or have Affordable World obtain the Visa for you. If you choose to obtain Visa through Affordable World, the Visa processing fees are as follows:  

60 days or prior to departure:    $180
30-59 days prior to departure:    $200
14-29 days prior to departure:    $230

• Name Badges
Please ensure that you bring your passport with the appropriate entry visa and the passenger receipt of the E-ticket to the airport.

If you purchased travel insurance through us during booking, your travel insurance will not be effective until we receive your final full payment.
